As a non-audition mixed acappella community chorus where everyone from all walks of life is welcome, the Stampede City Mixed Chorus is proud of its 70 year history of spreading joy through song and being the place where acappella harmony meets happy. Whether you have a wealth of musical experience or have only ever sung “Happy Birthday”, we know you will fit right in and that you will find a part that matches your voice.

We love to sing songs that are fun to sing and familiar to most in addition to making the chorus a fun place to ‘sing a little better than we did last week.’ The music teams knows that jumping into a chorus where everyone seems to already know the songs can be daunting so we’ve structured our rehearsals and learning pace to be flexible for each singer…If you want you can start small and work your way up to learning all our songs once you’re ready. It’s better to sing just a few songs and be happy than to try to sing all of them and get overly stressed out! After all we sing for the joy of it and we want you to, too!

But the best way to find out about what we’re doing is to join us for a week or two or… It’ll cost you nothing to sing with us this season and we provide everything you need: music, sing-a-long learning tracks, and any other materials you might need. The only thing missing is you!
