Acappella is about using the one instrument we always carry with us to spread happiness through song. For us, it sounds best in 4-part harmony where each of our singers finds a voice-part that best matches their natural singing range. Since becoming a mixed chorus, our focus is finding fun through acappella; many of our songs are ‘fun’ songs that many people will recognize and enjoy singing along with.

Our style of acappella started around 'the barberpole' in the late 1800's where ordinary voices sang familiar tunes and other ordinary voices sung harmony around it. People swapped parts back and forth, but the goal remained the same--share joy through song.

The style was so popular it became known as barbershop which has now spread around the world. Thanks to shows like “Glee” and movies like “Pitch Perfect”, this style has evolved so that our it includes more and more songs you might have heard on the radio.

To us though, it's simply acappella happiness!
