Giving Back to Our Community Through Song

As a community chorus where everyone from all walks of life is welcome, the Stampede City Mixed Chorus is proud of its history of supporting the full diversity of worthy non-profits , especially at Christmas. Because of the need this year, rather than giving one Saturday Christmas Show to help one non-profit, we thought we would give three “Evenings of Carols” in three different areas of Calgary to help three non-profits.

Since many of the 55 singers on our risers are involved with a variety of non-profits in one manner or other, we decided we would start those with whom a number of our chorus members are connected.

MS Canada (https://mscanada.ca/). Alberta has one of the highest rates of Multiple Sclerosis. As an autoimmune neurological disease, people living with MS often have to deal with pain and increasingly challenging mobility issues. Your support of MS Canada will go towards helping to find cure for this debilitating disease.

  1. Location: Central Calgary. To support those living with MS, we look forward to seeing you at our show on Wednesday, December 5, 7:00 pm at Scarboro United Church (134 Scarboro Avenue SW, Calgary, AB)
